Description/Interesting Notes: An aesthetic combination of calcite and hematite from this classic locale!!! This specimen hosts two hemispherical growths of calcite on a matrix of specular hematite!!! The calcite crystals are almost acicular, with the crystals being comprised of tightly packed, radiating needle-like crystals that give the rounded surfaces a noticeably "spikey" texture upon close inspection!!!
