Description/Interesting Notes:
A large and impressive example of calcite from this classic locality!!! This specimen consists of a large, complex
cluster of intergrown calcite crystals that is completely covered with barytocalcite The calcite crystals are present as groups of
slightly rounded "balls" of intergrown, stepped rhombohedral forms that host a rich layer of glittery, translucent barytocalcite!!!
This specimen is undamaged all around and displays magnificently in person!!! Old material!!! This specimen is from the
University of Delaware Mineralogical Museum as well!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
