Description/Interesting Notes:
A VERY RARE, old time example of lavender-pink calcite and galena from this historic locale!!! These
fabled lavender-pink calcite crystals are EXTREMELY RARE and date to the turn of the 1900's!!! These
specimens are so rare that, outside of one famed specimen at the Smithsonian, few collectors have ever
seen one!!! This specimen has razor-sharp faces with highyl complex features
and superb, bright glassy luster!!! The crystal has a characteristic
lavender-pink color and a dynamic internal glow!!! Although the crystal is cleaved on the bottom, the remainder of the
crystal has sharp, natural faces and a complete termination!!! The flat square-shaped face on the termination is NOT a
cleavage face, but a glassy terminal face!!! The crystal has very complex form and its subtle details are
quite intruiging in person!!! The crystal has much more significant clarity than it appears in the pics as well!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
