Description/Interesting Notes: A superb example of calcite from this seldom referenced locale!!! This specimen came out of a collection we acquired some time ago that had a suite of fantastic calcite specimens from unusual localities!!! This specimen hosts a broad face covered with razor-sharp, glassy, rhombs of gemmy colorless calcite!!! There is a layer of tiny pyrite crystals under the the calcite crystals that can be seen included within these superb, gemmy calcite crystals!!! This specimen is in superb condition with pristine, undamaged crystals!!! This is a KILLER Kentucky calcite indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
