Copper stained Hemimorphite after Calcite with Sphalerite and Chalcopyrite upper level mining, Joplin Field, Tri-State District, Jasper Co., Missouri 5.5cm x 3.2cm x 2.3cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A unique and magnificent pseudomorph from this classic locality!!! This specimen consists of a sharp single calcite crystal that has been replaced by a thatchwork of lustrous, juxtaposed crystals of hemimorphite aesthetically perched atop a matrix of brilliant chalcopyrite and lustrous sphalerite!!! The hemimorphite crystals are present both as white/colorless crystals near the termination and brownish, rootbeer colored crystals near the bottom with a stunning band of turquoise-colored copper stained crystals in the middle!!!
