Description/Interesting Notes:
An aesthetic example of calcite with mottramite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of complex, juxtaposed, disc-like groups of sharply rhombohedral
calcite crystals that have been aesthetically accented by two generations of green mottramite crystals!!! The calcite crystals
are glassy and translucent to gemmy!!! The mottramite has an attractive two-toned green color and is quite sparkly!!! The mottramite is
selectively oriented on just one side of the high-relief areas of calcite crystals - which always makes for
a particularly aesethetic display!!! While there is some very minor damage, the specimen is in fantasic condition (the areas of whitish crystals are
not damage!)!!! This specimen is simply stunning in person - the pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! The specimen is dramatically
fluorescent as well - producing an incredible display under UV (in person it is outrageous)!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
