Native Copper included Calcite with Prehnite Keweenaw Co., Michigan 5.7cm x 3.04cm x 2.47cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of calcite with native copper inclusions from Michigan!!! This psecimen consists of a complex single crystal of calcite that is prominently perched on a small amount of matrix and richly included with brilliant native copper!! The calcite crystal has sharp, lustrous faces and marked clarity!!! The calcite crystal hosts a very rich showing of bright native copper inclusions thoughout!!! Upon close inspection one can see that there are some very pale green to whitish crystals of prehnite included within the calcite as well!! There are also some prehnite crystals on the matrix as well and one can see numerous tiny areas of exposed native copper scattered about, as well as a small amount of epidote!!! Although the crystal has a small amount of cleavage, it still displays quite handsomely all around!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
