Description/Interesting Notes:
A unique example of calcite and duftite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of sharp, lustrous calcite crystals that exhibit selective coatings and
inclusions of bright green duftite as well as a selective coating of an unidentified reddish mineral!!! The duftite crystals are present as
sharply defined, geometric shapes both on the external faces of the calcite crystals as well as internal zones within some of the calcite crystals!!!
The reddish colored material is present as a thin "dusting" that has selectively coated the calcite rhombs from just one direction (there are also some
internal phantoms of this material as well!)!!! A very unique specimen indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
