Caledonite and Anglesite on Galena Blanchard Mine, Bingham, Hansonburg District, Socorro Co., New Mexico 3.85cm x 3.18cm x 1.26cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of this rare and colorful species from New Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a pair of galena crystals that have altered to anglesite and host a gorgeous and rich distribution of bright blue caledonite crystals!!! The crystals are lustrous and intensely colored!!! This specimen is absolutely stunning in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! There is also what appears to have been a third galena crystal that has now been completely altered to just a thatch-work of perpendicular anglesite (and possibly cerussite) crystals!!! STAY TUNED!!!
