Caledonite Cornwall, England 4.26cm x 2.1cm x 1.46cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of caledonite from England!!! This specimen hosts a fantastic grouping of intensely colored crystals of caledonite perched in a protective vug in matrix!!! This specimen came to us labelled as being from "Wheal Mary Jane, Cornwall, England" - however, I have never seen a caledonite from Cornwall before (nor have I heard of a "Wheal Mary Jane"... Mary, yes. Jane, yes. Mary Jane, no.)!!! I have only seen English caledonite specimens from Roughton Gill that look similar to this!!! However, I am no expert on Cornwall and I know I have seen many surprising things from there before!!! In any case, this is a terrific example of caledonite indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
