Bindheimite and Brochantite with Cerussite, Anglesite, Caledonite, & Galena War Eagle Mine, Tecopa, Inyo Co., California 6.05cm x 4.6cm x 2.2cm Ex. Young Collection No. 562 Ex. Robert E. Jenkins II Collection No. 203

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of rare lead secondaries from California!!! This specimen consists of a colorful combination of bright yellow bindheimite and emerald green brochantite highlighted by streaks of light blue caledonite in minor association with linarite!!! There is a substantial covering of tiny cerussite and anglesite crystals which add quite a bit of sparkle!!! There is some highly altered galena in association as well, and there may be some tiny leadhillite crystals among the cerussite and anglesite!!! This specimen retains an old, detailed label from the Young collection and its original Jenkins collection label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
