Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of calomel from Texas!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of crystalline calomel!!! The calomel has marked luster and translucence!!! There are at least three other species in association including a few tiny areas of native mercury, a few tiny yellowish crystals, and numerous reddish crystals distributed throughout the specimen (not cinnabar)!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pictures show!!! This is a fantastic old time Terlingua calomel!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Foster collection as well!!!
