Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of mimetite var. campylite from England!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of lustrous, intensely colored crystals of campylite on matrix in association with barite!!! The mimetite crystals have classic "pill-bug" like form with glassy luster and intense multi-hued color!!! The matrix hosts some black material that accentuates the color of the campylite crystals nicely and there are striking groups of tiny campylite crystals paired with white blades of barite on the reverse!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
