Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of this rare mimetite varietal from England!!! This specimen hosts numerous intensely colored crystals of mimetite var. campylite prominently perched on matrix!!! The campylite crystals have sharp, characteristic "pill bug" form with bright glassy luster and intense orange-red color!!! These impressive crystals range in size to well over 1cm!!!Aside from contacts, the crystals are in fantastic condition and the specimen displays magnificently!!! This specimen has terrific provenance and retains several old labels as well!!! This specimen retains an old Schortmann's label from 1955 and a VERY detailed label from the Smith collection that lists the time and place of acquistion, shows it was displayed at, etc. etc., among other labels as well!!!
