Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare and sought after species from Mont Saint-Hilaire!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, gemmy, single crystal of carletonite that hosts a group of small, jet-black crystals of aegirine on one side!!! The crystal has a very sharply defined bright blue core and exhibits strong pleochroism - with its color changing from numerous angles!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
