Cassiterite Cornwall, England 4.45cm x 3.7cm x 3cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of cassiterite from Cornwall!!! This specimen hosts several sharp, lustrous crystals of cassiterite on a matrix of massive cassiterite, chlorite, pyrite, and quartz!!! Upon close inspection one can see that the crystals exhibit characteristic twinning as well!! The crystals are in fantastic condition with sharp faces and bright, glassy luster!!! This specimen retains an old musuem label and affixed catalogue number as well!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
