Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of cassiterite from this classic locale!!! This specimen consists of a striking cluster of lustrous, complex cassiterite crystals in association with a small amount of muscovite!!! The crystals are sharp, lustrous, and undamaged!!! The crystals have color that ranges from near black to tan-brown!!! There are numerous areas where the cassiterite crystals show small areas of marked clarity as well!!! This is a particularly fine example of the species for the locality!!! This specimen came from the collection of Howard Belsky!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
