Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of cassiterite from this classic locale!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of cassiterite crystals that exhibit unusual, elongated prismatic habits!!! The crystals are sharp and lustrous with dark color that has rich deep brown highlights throughout!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition all around and is way better than the pics show!!! The crystals have well defined prismatic form with complex, somewhat spikey terminations!!! There is a small amount of what appears to be marcasite in association as well!!!
