A rare locality example of cassiterite from Rwanda!!! This specimen consists of a complexly twinned crystal of cassiterite from Rwanda!!! The crystal
is sharp, lustrous, and in fantastic condition!!! There is a small amount of a mica-group mineral present in association and a "ball" tucked in one of the recesses!!!
Simply a magnificent specimen!!! Cassiterite specimens from Rwanda are practically nonexistent!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Wolfgang Pohl worked in the mining industry in Namibia in the 70s and 80s and was a
prolific collector and dealer during and after this time!!! He would make trips back and
forth to his native Germany trading specimens he had acquired in Africa for worldwide
specimens!!
