Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of catapleiite from Norway!!! This specimen hosts a broad blate of catapleite crystals in association with darkly colored aegirine, astrophyllite, and nepheline!!! The catapleiite crystals have reddish brown color and show some characteristic hexagonal features as well!!! In addition to the broad plate of crystals on the front there is an area of catapleiite on the reverse as well!!! Rare, old time material!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Freiberg Academy as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
