Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of catapleiite from Mont Saint Hilaire!!! This specimen consists of a complex, compound crystal of catapleiite in association with darkly colored crystals of aegirine!!! The catapleiite exhibits a brilliant network of sharp, hexagonal crystal faces with beveled edges!!! The crystals are sharp and in fantastic condition!!! The specimen is way better than the pics show!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
