Description/Interesting Notes: A gorgeous example of cavansite from the type locality in Oregon!!! These old time, type locality cavansite specimens are quite scarce and seldom seen on todays market!!! This specimen hosts a particularly rich display of bright blue balls and radial sprays of cavansite in association with heulandite, calcite, and stilbite!!! The cavansite has absolutely electric color that is more intense than anything you see from contemporary finds in India!!! This specimen is from the Ken Hogan collection and was acquired by him from zeolite expert Rudy Tschernich!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
