Celestine on Native Sulphur

Agrigento, Agrigento Province, Sicily, Italy

13.8cm x 8.2cm x 6.1cm

Ex. Howard Belsky Collection No. S-0207SU

Description/Interesting Notes:

A magnificent example of celestine from this classic Itallian locale!!! This specimen consists of a lively cluster of sharp, complex crystals of celestine on a layer of massive native sulphur!!! The celstine crystals have highly complex features with razor-sharp faces and detail, glassy luster, and translucent clarity!!! This specimen is complete and in magnificent condition all around!!! This specimen displays gorgeously in person and is WAY better than the pics show!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of Howard Belsky and retains his catalogue number on the underside!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JULY 26th!!!
