A rare and unusual, old time example of cerussite from Wisconsin!!! This specimen consists of a pair of large galena crystals that host numerous complex
cerussite crystals in association with an unidentified reddish brown mineralization!!! The cerussite crystals are actually complete and crystalline,
showing numerous, tiny complex faces upon close examination!!! The reddish brown mineralization is surprisingly hard and rigid!!! This specimen is quite unusual and
the pictures simply do not do it justice!!! It is WAY better than the pics show!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
This specimen retains old labels from the Sunshine Acres School (a very "unique" fully
accredited private school - circa 1939, it was part of the nation's first Nudist colony),
and the Wintringham Collection!!!
