Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of cerussite from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts a rich coverage of sharp cerussite crystals of varying habits!!! The majority of the crystals are present as sharp, hexagonal twins although there are also crystals that almost appear bipyramidal and others that are more spikey and prismatic!!! They are all cerussite however, and there are all combinations of these forms present!!! This specimen is lustrous and showy in person - the pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! There is a band of massive galena that comprises part of the matrix as well!!! This specimen is from the Colorado suite of the Jenkins collection and retains its original collection label!!!
