Cerussite with Malachite Glucksrad Mine, Oberschulenberg, Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Harz Mts, Lower Saxony, Germany 11cm x 7cm x 4.5cm (late 18th century label)

Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely remarkable old time example of cerussite with malachite from this old time German locality!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of juxtaposed, prismatic crystals of jackstraw cerussite that have been richly coated with lively green malachite on a vuggy quartz matrix!!! The specimen is quite showy in person!!! Some of the larger crystals appear to be possible pseudomorphs as well (no cerussite visible on cross section!)!!! This is an OLD specimen that dates to the late 1700's!!! This specimen retains an old historic label and affixed label as well!!! Simply an amazing, old time German beauty!!!
