Description/Interesting Notes:
A unique, old time example of rhodochrosite with chalcedony and calcite from the Czech Republic!!! This specimen
consists of what appears to be a stalactitic-like growth of rhodochrosite that has subsequently been coated with a concentric layer of translucent
chalcedony and a cluster of juxtaposed, intergrown calcite crystals!!! There is a lot more going on with this specimen than the pics show!!!
This specimen is in fantastic condition all around as well!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Czech National Museum ( Museum Regni Bohemiae) as well!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
