Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of chalcocite from this historic New England locale!!! These highly prized Bristol chalcocites date to the mid 1800's and are quite difficult to acquire today!!! This specimen consists of a rich showing of characteristically complex chalcocite crystals in association with small, lustrous, spikey calcite crystals!!! The chalcocite crystals show highly complex forms with sharply defined features!!! This specimen retains old labels from Lawrence Conklin and the collection of J.H. Marshall as well!!! This specimen is much more crystalline than it appears in the pics and displays fantastically in person!!! Classic old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
