Description/Interesting Notes:
A terrific, old time example of chalcocite from Cornwall!!! This specimen consists of a matrix of massive chalcocite and tennantite that hosts numerous
complex crystals of chalcocite and a rich coverage of lively green botryoidal crystals of an unknown species (NOT malachite!)!!! Upon close examination, there
are more chalcocite crystals and crystallization than the pics show - some of the crystals are obscured by coatings of the associated green mineral!!! Also,
upon close examination one can find some tiny, submillimeter crystals of tennantite on the massive tennantite-chalcocite matrix!!! There are
also some tiny, complex crystals of pyrite in association as well!!! The pictures simply do not do this complex, old time
specimen justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
