Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of chalcocite from Butte!!! This specimen consists of a sharp prismatic crystal of chalcocite in association with enargite!!! The chalcocite crystal has handsome metallic luster with a slightly bluish cast in areas!!! The crystal faces are sharp and the termination is complete!!! There is a juxtaposed enargite crystal that exhibits characteristic longitudinal features and a flat termination!!! Simply a fantastic example of the species for the locale!!!
