Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of chalcocite from the Congo!!! This specimen hosts a rich cluster of well-formed chalcocite crystals on matrix!!! The chalcocite crystals are present as characteristic bladed, hexagonal crystals with a showy iridescent patina!!! The crystals are much more prominent and sharper than they appear in the pics!!! A fantastic example of the species for the locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
