Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare and unusual combination of chalcocite, bornite, and chalcopyrite from Wisconsin!!! This specimen consists of a complex, botryoidal cluster of
chalcopyrite (var. blister copper) that hosts an impressive showing of sharply crystallized bornite and a pair of complex
chalcopyrite crystals!!! Upon close inspection the bornite is amazingly well crystallized for the species!!! The chalcopyrite has an unusual
bortyoidal habit known as "blister copper" and exhibits a handsome multicolor patina!!! There are some curious features on the chalcopyrite that appear to be
possible "crystal negatives" as well!!! A very unusual specimen from a locality better known for its chalcocite clusters!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JUNE 9th!!!
