Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of chalcocite from Pennsylvania!!! This specimen hosts a large, complex crystal of chalcocite on matrix in association with scattered areas of malachite!!! This is not merely massive chalcocite - this is CRYSTALLINE!!! This is a fantastic old timer indeed!!! Upon close inspection, one can see complex crystalline features across the surface!!! The chalcocite has a slightly iridescent luster as well!!! There are some lively green malachite accents on some edges of the chalcocite as well as scattered about the matrix!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
