Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of chalcocite from Cornwall!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of complex, intergrown crystals of chalcocite!!! The crystals exhibit the classic hexagonal habit with some highly complex modifications and etching!!! The specimen is actually much more complete than it might at first appear!!! This specimen actually still retains an old museum catalogue number (Seaman Museum) still affixed to the underside!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
