This outstanding, exceptional crystal is easily one of the finest single crystal examples of chalcocite that I have ever seen!!! This specimen hosts a pristine, complex crystal of chalcocite prominently perched on matrix!!! The crystal has an incredible, dramatically pointed habit!!! The crystal is very symmetrical and, upon close inspection, one can see that there are slightly beveled edges on the terminal faces and one can see possible twin planes on the prism faces!!! The crystal has fine, metallic luster and displays beautifully all the way around!!! The crystal measures 1.2cm and is pristine, complete, and undamaged!!!
