Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent Butte classic indeed!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of large sharp blades of covellite that have been completely replaced by chalcocite on a matrix of covellite and pyrite!!! This specimen is a killer in person - the pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! This specimen is from the collection of well-known Butte collector and scholar Bob Jenkins and retains his original collection label!!!
