Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of chalcopyrite from Laurel Hill!!! This specimen hosts several complex, sphenoid crystals of iridescent chalcopyrite on a matrix of
"mountain leather" and calcite!!! The chalcopyrite crystals have a wonderful blue iridescence that is
quite striking in person!!! The combination of the crystals' sphenoidal forms, discrete placement, iridescence, and associated calcite rhombs make for a rather
handsome specimen indeed!!! The pics simply don't do it justice!!! This specimen is from the collection of Ken Hogan and retains his original label!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
