Description/Interesting Notes: A unique example of chalcopyrite from Butte!!! This specimen consists of a matrix covered with tiny quartz points and unusually spikey siderite crystals that hosts a striking showing of botyroidal chalcopyrite!!! The chalcopyrite is black in color with a very slight tinge of multicolor iridescence!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen is from the collection of noted Butte scholar and collector Bob Jenkins and retains his original collection label!!!
