Cuprite var. Chalcotrichite included in Calcite Tsumeb, Namibia 2.75cm x 2.5cm x 1.46cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare and colorful example of calcite included chalcotrichite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a combination of calcite rhombs and tiny quartz crystals in rich association with fine, hair-like crystals of cuprite var. chalcotrichite!!! The chalcotrichite is present included within the calcite crystals resulting in the intense orange color!!! The chalcotrichite crystals are also present as compressed masses of crystals in the recesses between the crystals!!! Although there is some damage, the specimen is still quite showy due to its intense color!!! These specimens have always been highly sought after due to their rarity and aesthetics!!!
