Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare species from Louisiana!!! This specimen consists of a very dark purple, almost black, crystal of chambersite!!! The crystal is complete, sharp, and lustrous!!! The crystal exhibits characteristic three-sided pyramidal form and appears to be an intergrown, compound crystal that shows numerous triangular features on some faces!!! Simply a terrific example of this rare species!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
