A terrific example of this rare species from Louisiana!!! This specimen consists of a very dark purple,
almost black, crystal of chambersite!!! The crystal is sharp, lustrous, and
exibits characteristic three-sided pyramidal form!!! The faces show some complex, repeating triangular forms and
other complex features upon close inspection!!! Although
one of the corners is slightly truncated, the specimen displays fantastically and
has signficant size for the species!!! Simply a terrific example of this rare species!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
