Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely extraordinary example of chlorargyrite from Broken Hill!!! This rare, old time specimen is comprised almost entirely of
crystalline chlorargyrite with several scattered crystals of cerussite perched among them!!! This specimen consists of a wonderfully three-dimensional,
branching structure of grayish-yellow chlorargyrite crystals that hosts several complex cerussite crystals peched among its branches!!! Although they
appear somewhat rounded, the cerussite crystals have some sharply defined faces around their edges!!! The chlorargyrite has surprising luster and is quite
showy thanks in part to the millions of tiny faces that cover its complexly branching forms!!! The chlorargyrite also has marked translucence as well!!!
This incredible specimen is literally one contiguous piece of crystalline chlorargyrite!!! This is an EXTRAORDINARY example of the species from Broken Hill (or ANY locality
for that matter)!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition all around and displays fantastically!!! This is a rare and
valuable old time Broken Hill beauty indeed!!! This specimen is AMAZING in person - the pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
