Description/Interesting Notes:
A terrific example of these rare silver bearing halides from Broken Hill!!! This specimen hosts several significant
crystals of bromian chlorargyrite crystals in addition to some iodargyrite and a lone azurite crystal!!!
The bromian chlorargyrite crystals are sharply defined and range in color from gray-brown to greenish-brown and show
areas of marked translucence as well!!! The iodargyrite crystals are much lighter in color and have more signficant
translucence as well!!! A significant portion of the matrix is covered in small, unidentified crystals as well!!!
There is a lot going on with this specimen and much more to see in person!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! his specimen is from the collection of
Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label as well!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen
PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming
days and weeks!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
