Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic, old time example of bromian chlorargryite from Broken Hill!!! This specimen consists of a darkly colored
matrix that hosts numerous discrete crystals of yellow to tan colored bromian chlorargyrite!!! The crystals are sharp and
lustrous (significantly more sharp and lustrous than the pics show!) and range in size to over 3.25mm!!! The great majority
of bromian chlorargryite specimens consist of amorphous "blobs" of chlorargyrite - however this specimen hosts a
terrific showing of well crystallized bromian chlorargyrite!!! In fact, there are significant showings of individual crystals of
bromian chlorargyrite present on EVERY side of this specimen!!! There are many more crystals than are visible in the pics too,
with many more smaller crystals scattered about the matrix!!! This specimen is from the collection of A.J. Beres!!!
The pics don't even come close to doing this classic rarity justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
