A magnificent, old time example of "Horn Silver" chlorargyrite from Colorado!!! This specimen is almost entirely comprised of very rich, dense "horn silver"
chorargyrite!!! "Horn Silver" is an antiquated term given to rich crusts of chlorargyrite that have been particularly weathered by desert conditions to
resemble the flat, dull luster of a cow horn!!! Upon close examination one can see a number of curious features, including parallel bands and striations, swirls, and
other odd forms!!! Although this specimen is very sturdy and rigid, small peices of this material can literally be molded like an
incredibly dense, silver clay!!! An exceptional example of such material!!! This classic old timer is quite heavy for its size, weighing a hefty 118g!!! The pics
hardly do it justice!!! This specimen retains its original Rawlings/Seaman Museum label as well!!!
