Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of bromian chlorargyrite from Broken Hill!!! This specimen consists of a group of intersecting blades of cerussite that
serve as a matrix for numerous complex crystals of tan colored bromian chlorargyrite!!! The crystals range in size to over 8mm and exhibit some
well defined crystal faces as well!!! The cerussite crystals are highly lustrous and range in clarity from opaque to gemmy!!! While
the cerussite crystals exhibit some damage, however there is a significant degree of complexity and etching as well!!! Curiously, there
are areas where the bromian chlorargyrite has formed over what appear to be damaged areas of cerussite!!! The pics hardly do this specimen justice - it is
way better than the pics show!!! Old material!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
