Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely stunning example of chondrodite, magnetite, and brucite from the historic Tilly Foster Mine!!! This specimen hosts a gorgeous cluster of sharp, lustrous, intensely colored orange-red, gemmy crystals of chondrodite in association with sharp magnetite crystals and an impressive showing of translucent, slightly pearly brucite!!! The chondrodite crystals are simply magnificent with large areas of gem clarity, sharp faces, and fiery color!!! The magnetite crystals have complex habits and striated faces!!! The brucite has a pale greenish yellow hue and marked translucence and somewhat pearly luster!!! There are actually two small areas of brucite that actually have gemmy clarity!!! This specimen is an absolutey KILLER in person!!! These pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Simply an extraordinary trio of species from this famous New York locality!!!
