An outstanding, old time example of chondrodite and clinochlore from this famous historic locale!!! This specimen
consists of an attractive combination of deep green, gemmy clinochlore crystals and deep orange-amber chondrodite in
association with massive calcite!!! The clinochlore crystals exhibit sharp form and deep green color with gemmy clarity!!! The
clinochlore crystals are quite thick and exhibit significant size as well!!! The chondrodite crystals exhibit
highly complex form with brilliant, glassy faces and clarity that ranges from translucent to gemmy!!! This specimen
is in fantastic condition all around and displays gorgeously in person!!!
This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection
of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Prior
to the Nikischer collection this specimen was originally from the collection of Florence Mecke (acquired from the late
1930's until the 1970's)!!!
