Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of chondrodite from this historic locale!!! This specimen consists of a sharp single crystal of chondrodite!!! The crystal has sharp, lustrous faces and areas of gemmy clarity!!! The crystal has rich reddish-brown color!!! There is some whitish lizardite in association and, upon close inspection one can see some minute crystals and grains of magnetite on the reverse!!! The crystal is relatively complete with crystal faces on the reverse as well!!! Classic old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
