Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of chromium diopside from Finland!!! This specimen hosts an intensely colored crystal of chromium diopside prominently perched on a quartz matrix!!! The crystal has sharp, complex faces with marked luster and showy, bright green color!!! The crystal measures nearly 3cm!!! This specimen retains old labels as well as a custom made acrylic display label (clearly it had been on display at some point in its past)!!! Rare, old time material!!!
